Waze is a handy free app with real-time traffic info provided by an incredible community of over 30 million drivers called "Wazers" a social media minded bunch who contribute live traffic updates to warn other Waze users about traffic jams, road accidents, speed traps and more.

The inclusion of a live traffic map makes Waze a must-have app for your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.  This latest version 3.5.1 offers:

• Live routing and real-time traffic conditions updated from the Waze community
• Voice-guided navigation - the app also remembers your routes and destinations
• Automatically finds the best route depending on road conditions

Twitterrific from The Iconfactory, has updated their Twitter client software to version 5.01, with all new features for the twitterholic in you.  This new Twitter update has been designed to make tweeting easier, and includes:

• Two-finger swipe to switch between themes
• Swipe gestures now include sound effects
• In-app notication for new tweets
• Photos can now be sent without any text in the tweet

Other software improvements are also included as well as bug fixes etc.  This app is currently $2.99 and works with the iPhone 3GS and above (But is optimized for the iPhone 5) as well as the 5th generation iPod Touch, and the iPad.  If  you're looking for more Twitter followers and want a great way to tweet better, you can't go wrong with Twitterrific for iOS.

Echofon for Twitter has updated their software to version 4.1 making it a universal app and is a free download  for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.  Echofon allows you to tweet, and check out your timeline, see your messages, and mentions; in short - Echofon is "Twitter on the go" and includes:

• Inline photo and video previewing
• New mute function to quash annoying users, and hashtags
• Using an iPad on WiFi? new tweets show up in a flash, no refresh needed

Echofon 4.1 also fixes a few bugs including one that disabled photo previews, and streaming settings that didn't work properly.
