The new iPad is out, so Amazon just took the wraps off of a brand-spanking-new Kindle App for iPad, and iPhone. The new update: version 3.1 - adds several new features that help make for an even better experience on the best tablet in the world, the iPad. Some of the new improvements include:
- Better reading on the iPad: Amazon has shrunk the margins, and cleaned up the overall look of the app for far more immersive reading sessions.
- Bug fixes for word search issues using Google and Wikipedia.
- New: Search by title or author, to find your content fast.
Kindle App 3.1 works for both iPhone, the new iPad, and iPod Touch, this software requires iOS 4.2 or later, and is a great way to read your Kindle books on your favorite iDevice.
This 19.9 MB file is a free download and is available now, shopping at the Kindle Store just got better - and reading Stephen King novels just got scarier on the iPad.
Comics, graphic novels, and children's books will look great on the new Retina display - not to mention Manga. Ready to read Kindle Books your way? Download Kindle iOS App 3.1.
