NFL 2011 Football App for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android Market and BlackBerry App World

NFL Enterprises LLC is out with a new version of  NFL 2011 version 2.0.14  This new update provides live scoring, stats, and game highlights for smartphones, and tablets. 

NFL 2011 is available at the App Store, and iTunes for the Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch (running iOS 4.0 or later) as well as for Android phones at the Android Market, and BlackBerry phones at the BlackBerry App World.

Adobe Flash Player Update Version 10.3 for Mac, Windows, and Linux - Free Download

Adobe has updated Flash Player to the new 10.3 version.  This update offers new privacy controls in your browsers settings for Mozilla Firefox 4, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or above, and Google Chrome 11 with support for Apple's Safari expected in the future.

Flash is also available for smartphones such as Google's Android phones, and Blackberry devices as well as TabletOS, and HP webOS that meet minimun hardware, and software requirements.

How To: Accept Credit Cards with the Square Card Reader Credit Card Machines

Whats small, and white, and can accept credit cards? The Square Card Reader! This tiny device hooks into the audio jack on your iPhone, or iPod Touch, and acts as a magnetic reader that you can swipe credit cards with., and was created by the founder of Twitter; Jack Dorsey.

The traditional way to process credit cards involved signing up for a merchants account with a bank, or service provider, purchasing expensive equipment, and paying hefty fees. This dongle is smaller than the old-fashioned Credit Card Machines. Whats different about the Square Card Reader is:

What we like about it is it's tiny size, and the simplicity of use; Just swipe the credit card, customer signs with their finger, receive receipt via email, or SMS – it doesn’t get any simpler than this. The possibilities are endless; this is great if you're in a band and want to sell CD's, and other merchandise at gigs. Running a roadside stand? Now you can accept credit cards too. Could also be used at Flea-Markets, yard sales, pizza deliverymen, small business's will love this.

Apple iPhone Tracking - Anything to Worry About?

Everyone's heard about the recent Apple iPhone Tracking story by now, but is there anything to worry about? Or is it all much ado about nothing? I'll vote for the latter. Every major Smartphone maker needs to know your general area in order to offer location-based services. Ever use Google Maps? They need data on where you are in order for you to get your bearings, and GPS devices need that information as well.

Many other services (im looking at you Foursquare) also use your location for their services, so this is really no different than what every other Smartphone (Android included) does. If you want location-based services; they require your  location.

If im going to trust any company with my data; i'll trust Apple. If there's any issue, it will be sorted out. However I know there are too many awesome Smartphone Apps in the App Store that I plan on downloading to add even more functionality to my iPhone to be concerned about this; There is nothing to see here folks, moving right along... Now where is my white iPhone?
