Google Voice to Offer Free Phone Calls Online in the US and Canada for 2013

Good news Google Voice fans!  The search engine giant notified users of the popular VoIP service that they will extend the offer of free phone calls within the US and Canada throughout 2013. 

Those of you enjoying your free phone calls online can look forward to yet another year to yap about Kim Kardashian on Twitter, Justin Bieber calling fans, or anything else you please without running up a huge phone bill.  Google Voice allows you to check your messages without leaving Gmail - saving time when you're on the go.

Not signed up and looking to make free phone calls online? this is a free gift, so give Google Voice a try.

Skype for Mac New Updated Version Download

Skype for Mac which has been in the news recently due to a zero-day Vulnerability, has now posted a security update.  The latest version includes updates which solves the issue, and tackles a video freezing problem, as well as additional bug fixes.

Current users of Skype for Mac can download the update by opening the application, and selecting "Skype > Check for Updates" Users can also download the software directly: Skype for Mac OS X
